Volunteer Opportunities

Our volunteers are the lifeblood of our organization, playing a critical role in advancing our mission to empower vulnerable communities through education, fundraising, clean water access, and sustainable development. We are excited to offer a range of volunteer opportunities, both in our administrative office in Washington, D.C., and on mission trips to Uganda.
Volunteer Opportunities in Washington, D.C.
For those based in or near Washington, D.C., we offer volunteer opportunities to support our administrative office. This is a chance to get involved in the behind-the-scenes work that keeps Divine Hearts Foundation running smoothly and effectively. Volunteers can assist with a variety of tasks, including fundraising, event planning, and outreach. If you have skills in graphic design, video production, social media management, or other areas, your expertise will be invaluable in helping us tell our story, communicate our mission, and expand our reach. By volunteering in our D.C. office, you will contribute to the strategic growth of our organization and ensure that we can continue to serve communities in need.
Mission Opportunities in Uganda
For those with a heart for hands-on service, we also offer mission opportunities to travel to Uganda, where Divine Hearts Foundation’s work is deeply rooted. These mission trips allow volunteers to engage directly with the communities we serve, working on projects that include community workshops and training, drilling boreholes for clean water, supporting education initiatives, and helping to improve livelihoods. Whether you’re teaching, mentoring, or helping with construction, your efforts will make a tangible difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families. These mission trips are also an opportunity to experience a different culture, build relationships, and grow both personally and spiritually.
