Divine Hearts Foundation Welcomes Dickson Mushabe to Board of Directors

In a significant stride towards enhancing our impact, we are thrilled to announce the appointment of Mr. Dickson Mushabe to our Board of Directors. Mr. Mushabe will serve as Director in charge of Technology & Innovation, bringing with him a wealth of experience and leadership in the tech industry.

Mr. Mushabe is renowned as the Founder and CEO of Hostalite, a prominent Web Hosting, Design, and Software Development Company in East Africa. His expertise extends to founding Cinnamon Clubs, a Fintech company revolutionizing the automation of financial records for SACCOs, and Dolphin Fund, a digital crowdfunding and fundraising platform.

Adding to his accomplishments, Mr. Mushabe is a distinguished author, known for his bestselling business book “I am not sorry for my Mistakes,” as well as the acclaimed “31 Keys to Restart your Business” and “Dear StartUP.” His contributions to the business community have been recognized globally, and he holds certifications from the International Trade Centre SME Trade Academy as a Standards and Certifications Professional for ICT.

Mr. Mushabe’s leadership extends beyond his entrepreneurial ventures. He has served as a former Director on the Board of ICT Association of Uganda (ICTAU) and is currently a member of the Board of Directors at Makerere University Innovation and Incubation Center. He shares his expertise as a guest lecturer at Uganda Management Institute (UMI) and mentors aspiring entrepreneurs through initiatives like the Big Ideas Contest at the University of California, Berkeley. Additionally, he contributes to global dialogues as a member of the advisory council of Global Shapers, an Initiative of the World Economic Forum.

Academically, Mr. Mushabe holds a master’s degree in business administration, complemented by certifications in Software Development from the University of Minnesota and Digital Marketing from the Digital Marketing Institute in Dublin, Ireland.
